The main benefit of using online water in oil meters in truck unloading applications include reduced maintenance, improved measurement of total volumes of watercut and improved accuracy which mean greater financial returns. Liquids are transported and unloaded at truck unloading facilities, sometimes these liquids come from unprocessed wellhead production or as clean oil from an oil battery without pipelines in place.
A watercut monitor with a fast response time can be installed to monitor the low water cut e.g.0-0.1% or 0-1% or higher values depending on the application. Measurement accuracy and repeatability is important for reporting of production fluids. |
