Pressure Decay Leak Detection

The InterTech M1045z Pressure Change or M1075z Differential Pressure Change Leak Test Instruments are low cost, high resolution, pressure change leak test instruments suitable for a wide range of part volumes.

Pressure change leak testing, compact construction, programmable pressure regulator, and high (24-bit) resolution instrumentation for leak testing small volume parts.

The leak test pressure transducer is connected to the test part. When this circuit is filled with air and isolated from the supply, any leak results in a pressure change relative to atmospheric pressure. The pressure change leak test transducer output provides a measurement of the pressure change proportional to the leak rate.

  • Programmable Pressure Range: 0 - 150 psig
  • Transducer repeatability: 0.05% F.S.D.
  • Transducer sensitivity: < 10-5 psi (STD)
  • A/D Conversion: 24 bit, 100 conversions/second
  • Timer increments: 0.01 sec.
  • Low (<1.5 cm3) internal volume

 

M1075-26z Differential Pressure Decay Leak Test Instrument The InterTech M-1075-26z Leak Testing Instrument is a high pressure construction, high resolution, differential pressure change leak test instrument suitable for a medium to large part volumes.

Test item and reference volume are pressurized and then isolated by closing valve 1. Reference volume is isolated from test item by closing valve 2. Leak test transducer reads pressure differential between reference volume and test item twice over time.

  • Pressure Range: 0 - 450 psig (standard)
  • Transducer Range: 0 - 10 In-WC (standard)
  • Transducer repeatability: 0.05% F.S.D.
  • Transducer sensitivity: < 10-5 psi (STD)
  • A/D Conversion: 24 bit, 100 conversions/second
  • Timer increments: 0.01 sec.
