Channel Flowmeter |
| |
The
common method of measuring flow through an open
channel is to measure the height or HEAD of the
liquid as it passes over an obstruction (a flume
or weir) in the channel. The velocity of a river
or stream can also be measured using spot velocity
meters such as turbine or doppler ultrasonics.
There are many types of open channel flow meters |

| Flo-Dar Radar Velocity/Area
Portable and Permanent Open Channel Flowmeters |
 |
The Flo-Dar Family of flowmeters provide
a revolutionary approach to open channel and sewer flow
monitoring. Flo-Dar combines digital doppler radar velocity
sensing technology with ultrasonic pulse echo level sensing
to remotely measure open channel flows.
Benefits
- Reduce confined space entries by 90% or more
- Personnel have no contact with the flow during installation.
- Maintenance caused by sensor fouling is eliminated
- No Profiling Required
- Field Replaceable/Interchangeable Sensors and Monitors

can be anything to do with an ultrasonic flow meter , magmeter
, differential pressure transmitter, coriolis flowmeters or
anything to do with the subjecy of fluid flow that you think
will help educate others. Article submission can be in word,
